Hi Everyone ! On the "WASTED" Volume CD, the is a track from a band called node ( including ol' time synth wiz flood ). The track is just brilliant and reminds me some of tangerine dream. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no CD available and no one knows them here. Does any of you have more information on them ? Marc.

If you can get ahold of the TEEX 4 CD/LP, there is an article on them. I will say Flood from Depeche Mode had a hand in it, and the Node LP/CD is coming soon on Deviant Records(devnt 5)... Derek Jordan

The Node double LP/single CD has just recently been released ... in the UK anyway. Regards, Paul.

Well, there's Tangerine Dream and there's Tangerine Dream. As far as I'm concerned, pretty much any TD album featuring Christopher Franke is decent stuff. They went downhill fast once he left (about 1986) and have since turned into dull prog-rockers. All the TD stuff from around 1969-1980 is excellent. Especially Rubycon and Phaedra (early 70s). It's these two albums that remind me of Node. If you like the Node CD and haven't checked out this early TD stuff, on account of their recent output being utter shite, then snap up Rubycon and Phaedra immediately. -- /\/)ark headspin - http://www.sonance.demon.co.uk/

hi laz, try to get the u.k. "future music" magazine #39 (january 1996). the accompanying cd has a track "pliers" (no idea if that's exclusive) and a 100-second-video of them at paddington station. > * "Olivine" on Volume 12--I think--compilation correct. > * "Swamp" on Excusions in Ambience 2--I think--(Astralwerks) not. this is . excursions in ambience § the fourth frontier § . (1995 astralwerks asw 6153-2) but volume two is by far the better choice. also a track "alternator" on trance europe express 4 (07.1995 volume teex cd 4) and get all the tangerine dream records of the 70's :-) ciao, wolf. mailto:kemkerwolf@csi.com http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/KemkerWolf/wolf.htm http://pero.infornax.hu/kompaktkiste http://www.hyperreal.org/music/labels/harvest
