Plod are a duo including IDM's very own Franz Enmark and one other guy (name slips>?> I've got a CDr they put out about a year or so back, and i know they also released some tapes.. all excellent stuff. I guess they'll have a CD or something through WI... btw, just got in a box of new/forthcoming MAS stuff today. The While EP is incredible. Melodic/funk sensibilities of Freeform, but rhythmically less abstract more on par with the rest of the MAS crew. After a few quick listens this could possibly out do the Andre Estermann EP as my favorite MAS release. Glad to see mr. while is representing us US-ers (geddit? users?!)... Also, Funkstorung: Additional Products LP currently holds position for best packaged IDM record of '99. (Lucky Kitchen= last years winners, btw). Not only that but the choonz are ace, too! Especially the Finitribe mix... Haven't gotten a chance to listen to the Chris De Luca yet, but it's on white vinyl fyi.. anyway look for all that within a few weeks, plus fortcoming Aemic 10" picture disc and Swap 12" later, mlt.

are you talking about the remixes 2x12"? i was under the impression that Additional Products is a new album due out on !k7 in april or so, and the remixes was just that, remixes.

these are both dope. the picture disc is pretty nicely designed by tDR, with pie graphs and charts of various attributes of mike fakesch and andre estermann, while the Swap (MaS 12) is just dope. peace- ./ chris. p.o. box 771688 coral springs, fl 33077-1688
