oh, one more thing. i'm sure this is probably something that everybody on this list knows except me, but i'm too curious to keep this for myself; i've just finally gotten artificial intelligence 2 cd from the used bins (that's okay, you can call me rookie), & i'm wondering where that mailing list thread inside the sleeve comes from. it looked like the idm list somehow (or one of its ancestors); it had the same kind of discussions. coincidence? i think not. :) -- david turgeon curator, http://www.notype.com web programmer, http://www.jumpmedia.com eerie@mnemonic.net - icq #2358960

They came from a list i used to be on, but left coz it got kind of annoying because everyone ended up just ripping the shit out of everyone else. So I came here, to IDM ;) It was the uk-dance list, back in the days when material as 'experimental' as Warp records was discussed, nowadays it can basically be called the speed-garage list...(well, thats my uninformed opinion anyway, i dipped into it again recently, but it was terrible). -- Ben Coffer http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/
