i just read 20 idm-digests and decided to share a few comments before i fall behind again. first, thumbs up to atom heart and bernd friedmann (sp?) for their recent ep as flanger (ntone 32). think hi-tech but mellow, digital but fluid. much better than the new squarepusher record.

in that case, i don't reckon i'll buy a squarepusher record again. seriously, folks, releases like budakhan mindphone are barely worth a free download, let alone several bucks. squarepusher should have released a single-sided 7" with just the song "iambic 5 poetry," and not the 25 minutes of filler. instead of wasting your money on squarepusher, pick up the vendor refill - evil weevil 12" on nature; it sounds sorta like the best moments of the old 0161 compilation. or try dayglo tinsel, the new metamatics 12" on district six, for some light-hearted fun. mlee np: lowfish - "feeling no.4" (suction 005)

I've a question about this release, which consequently I also highly recommend for people into pole-like static as part of song composition (recall raum fur notizens' opening track): Says on the label something like 'material from the forthcoming album'. So how much is from the album? Is there enough exclusive to be worth my $14 bones (yeah, I only gave it a thorough listen)? Ninja Jeff, got some wisdom for me? @nd. np. Vampyros Lesbos - OST
