The cd contains thirteen Thomas Brinkmann remixes (or variations as he likes to call them) of Mike Ink's seminole Studio One records. There were also two separate Studio 1 Variationen 12"s that each had two variations that were not on the cd (var14-17). All the Stuidio 1 - Variationen releases came out in 1997. It was my first introduction to Thomas Brinkmann and, i believe, one of his first releases.
