i feel the intro is the most boring part of the video. it drags on a little too long and the dialogue is a little too contrived. the best moments are the dance moves with the umbrella with the fantastic editing. michael jackson and marry poppins, eat your heart out. i appreciate that richard (or perhaps chris cunningham) has the balls to take the piss out of the whole hip hop / r&b scene video style and rearrange it afx style. cellulite, ugly "women", water, palm trees and all. bravo. bennyblanco On Fri, 5 Mar 1999, wells wrote:

some of the lines do make me chuckle. but the point is, it drags on for too long and does sound contrived. not the "best" acting in the world. and perhaps it's not suppose to be, part of the whole joke. it's in the delivery, it's really trying to be black and street, but it falls short from being completely convincing. nothing is "wrong with me", but i can certainly distinguish when a joke gets tired and drags on for too long. it has it's moments, grant you. i just dig the action later on the video with the great editing. cheers, bennyblanco On Sat, 6 Mar 1999, wells wrote:
