just wanted to announce that i'm going apeshit over the Turner album, "Lukin Orgel" (ladomat) that i just ripped out of the bent crayon box. warm, nostalgic, synthpoppy, like mouse on mars meets bochum welt perhaps, or a less krautrocky schlampeitzeiger (sp).... and that's only 2 tracks in!!! ok, so i should probably listen to the whole damn thing before waxing ecstatic. but it sounds like this record oughtta please people across the spectrum of this list. look for an urban sounds review soon... (that's like my friggin tagline, right?) phil

philip: yes, that turner is super good stuff, but it's been *really* slept on. it came out monthsago (i think i did the premiere backin sept/october ish, and i had almost no entries in the crelated ontest cos no one knew who he was; then i had copies in my auction recently and again, no one bid cos no one knew what it was, now it's getting rave reveiws inthe press so many months later, so it's good to see it's finally getting some acclaim. there's a good batch of mixes coming soon. would tell ya more, but i've had over 1200 emails eaten in the last two weeks and that info is now lost, damn computers. i'm finaly get ing mine repaired/replaced tomorrow. check out http://come.to/justimagine/ for some horror stories :) andrew Philip Sherburne wrote:
