Hello - Anyone care to recommend good current intelligent jungle/d+b comps? My fave past comps were the Artcore series, In Order to Dance 6, the first Metalheads comp, the first Logical Progression comp, and the Breakbeat Science comps on the sadly defunct Volume. 3

I've got a bit of a problem seeing the words CURRENT in the same sentence as Jungle & D&B. Maybe you want to look at Dope on Plastic 6 (the double)? Somebody mentioned Kruder & Dorfmeister (There's nothing Kruder than Dorfmeister :-) ) - excellent tracks but not _exactly_ in the above category. Likewise, check out the !K7 DJ Kicks range of comps as well as their Freestyle Files comps. SOUR put out some comps a few years back with T Power etc on (round about 96? - Sour-Cream might fit your bill, but not current). I *

You could try a compilation called Nu Perspectives (Creative Wax/Partisan). There are three Progression Session Cds (not the same as Logical Progression, but same label). I like the second Metalheadz alot more than the first one. I think Hidden Rooms on Certificate 18 is great. Not only does it feature early Photek and Source Direct, but it also has a Plaid remix. And the Plaid remix of Studio Pressure (Photek) is by far one of my favorite Plaid mixes ever. Moving Shadow have put out some really good mix cds and they are dirty cheap...at least they were. The Metalbox (Metalheadz) had some really nice stuff. There are also some downbeat and trip hopish tracks that are really good. The list is too long to mention but here's a few.
