Anyone know what the scoop is on a Ubiquity Records 12" called Latinaires or something like that? I'd heard that it had mixes/production by both Carl Craig and Jazzanova on it, saw a copy today but no mention of Craig on the label. Didn't know if there was another version of this or what or if it was worth picking up for the Jazzanova cut alone. Website at Ubiquity was kinda vague. Also - what's the report on Svek? Swedish label, a couple people dropped the name but I haven't heard anything really descriptive yet. S'posed to be quality house. Info appreciated as always. Listening to way less idm these days, electro and deep house have got my ear... P.S. If you're so kind as to reply to this, drop it to my home email (bphil@email.unc.edu). Slacking off at work presently.

www.svek.com However... there is no info up there. Go to http://emil.techno.org/ for more information on the label. kinda vague. Well this is part of a series. The Carl Craig remix appears on vol. 3 Here's the info I have: Jazznova vs Har - you/Carl Craig vs Johnny Blas - The New Latinaires volume 3 in the series. It's a double helping of new school vs old school with two leading producers in club music putting their spin on two killer cuts (Ubiquity) If anyone has this I would love to hear their comments on the Carl Craig remix.

It is pretty decent house. I personally have only picked up a few releases off the label, but it all seems like pretty consistently decent/good. The ones I have are Conceiled Project - Patterns 1-4, which is Adam Beyer in a more tech house vein. It's pretty nice. And I also have Mr James Barth (Cari Lekebusch) & A.D (Alexi Delano) - Knockin Boots Vol 2. Overall I would have to say that it is a little disappointing for Cari Lekebusch but it still a decent release. I use to have another Mr Barth that was really good. It was much older. The new Mr James Barth LP was pretty disappointing. I personally prefer labels like Soma or Ferox over Svek.

got my ear... Cool, I've been buying some deep house, minimal techno, Detroit, alot of drum n bass, and IDM. I like having a variety and non-necessarily getting to focused on just one genre. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
