I hope Insync Vs Mysteron have a cd coming out sometime soon. I thought Android Architect was a really great album. Their Fat Cat single didn't really grab me, but their back catalog certainly did. By the way, has anyone picked up the new Anthony "Shake" Shakir - The Revisionist Theory (Frictional 09)? I'm can't wait to get this. Any comments? what's there to comment about, its Shakir it's great. If I'm thinking of the right recordI love the dialogue samplers where they're discussing what happens to music/art when it goes mainstream. Short and to the point. Definitely some dialogue that will, of course, be sampled later on..... gilly np: Matmos= Quasi Objets (damn I love this CD)

Actually, you're thinking of his record on 7th City ("Tracks for my Father"). That's the one with sampled music biz dialogue. I'm a huge Shake fan, but I initially passed on "The Revisionist Theory". I'm going back to the shop later this week, though, so I'll definitely give it another listen. Your one 12" behind. That's the Tracks for My Father ep on 7th City. He just had a new release on Frictional last week. I know it will be really good, I just wanted to hear some comments. When I went to O2 when John Tejada spun, he told me that a friend of his already had Frictional 09 and said it was Shake's best work to date.
