hey yall, while we're on the Pan Sonic bit, i just heard from a reliable source that Trans Am and Pan Sonic will be playing on May 10th in New Orleans... at the Mermaid... but I can't find any other tour dates yet... thrill jockey and mute say nothing. so someone find out the dates and post... especially looking for a NY date. the tour almost sounds like some kind of deal between pontiac and matsushita corp. can't people come up with original band names anymore? :) -ali _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? That's pretty damn cool. About half of Trans Am's stuff is SO Panasonic influenced, it's unreal. The other half is Stereolab, and the third half is Rush... They're not the greatest band in the world, but they are fun live. Check em out if you get a chance. And, if I remember correctly, are Pan Sonic supposed to be much better live than on record? Sam

According to my friend who maintains the Thrill Jockey and Trans Am websites, this is indeed a full tour. He expects to have the dates soon, so watch brainwashed.com/thrilljockey Greg
