I ran into Meek at the last burning man and, being the nice guy that he is,
he gave me and my friend a copy of his cdr. Very nice stuff. His music
reminds me of early Autechre - but he's not just another Ae clone - he's got
his own style (unfortunately I'm horrible at describing music - so let's
leave it at that). I definitely recommend his music if you enjoy
Incunabula. Any comp that features this guy along with Plod (I have to
throw in a plug for these guys as well) sounds like a winner.

hi, pietro.meek is from calgary, alberta.
played a track from him on one of the
archived andrew duke's in the mix shows
on cognition. and, if memory serves (bad
memory here :)), think i mentioned it and/or
charted it in one of the electronics reports
on cognition. think greg clow also has
a copy of the cdr he sent out? greg?
