Guess I forgot about this one when I did my mini-Kranky rundown - This one's nice (note: the 10" on Constellation is missing a 20 minute track) - very very ennio morricone influenced (like Mi Media Naranja I guess, but better), vast and dark but not really ambient. Some pretentious spoken bits that are actually very effective, melodrama, varied sounds, etc. Better than most recent Kranky (though the Roy Montgomery/Chris Heaphy is sounding good so far). ObIDM - just got the Krush/kondo lp "Ki-oku"... a huge disappointment, and I love Krush's Turntablized and Milight to bitses. This one's just too laid back, without enough of a groove to keep me interested. Too bad really; I expected it to be superfantastic. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
