Picked up the BS005 12" by (?) Walker.. Sultry, but dancefloor not-so-unfriendly techno.. sort of a cross between early stasis and the sparseness of some of the newer german/finnish bits.. definitely worth a listen.. there's a slow track on there that might appeal to the isolationists out there.. anyhow, a suprisingly "pure" release in this time of influence ridden music.. plus, check out the cx-audio 12" slated for release on sublime in the next month or so for a very cool plonk-style cut sorta like the Xon 12" on Network from way back when.. Fans of old aphex will also perhaps appreciate the what Process has been doing as of late.. deep, moody techno for those who like their music to define sonic spaces.. #3 is perhaps a tad more digestible than the first two, but #1 still my favorite.. o.k.. enough yapping.. jamie == - - - ---------------Small Fish Limited--------------- - - - England's Independent Record One-Stop Pick and Play at http://www.smallfish.co.uk All Business Inquiries: nick@smallfish.co.uk _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? I think it might be Stewart Walker. And if I remember correctly he might have something coming out on Cytrax soon.

Cool sounds like interesting stuff to look out for. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com

yep, this is great stuff. It's by Stewart S. Walker--"Jet Fuel And Longing" on California's Belief Systems. He's also got material coming out on Tresor, Background, Parotic, Sidereal, and a few others. In fact, the world premiere of his "Abstract Symbols Of Decadence" EP on Texas' Tektite imprint is currently online on Cognition Audioworks http://www.globalserve.net/~cognition (you can hear the release in full in RA before release) and 3 copies are being given away--deadline is this Friday at 8AM AST. Comes out in early March. Andrew :) Jamie Hodge wrote:
