kelley (and others): if you are interested in thug's material, a new label here (systorm) in nyc is putting out a comp called "sound options," on which thug has a GREAT track. it sounds like you're coming into a village in Zelda or something. the comp has a lot of other artists doing similar things soundwise, and it should be a great release. safety in numbers will be handling distribution, and it *should* be out sometime in may. there are mp3s available on the server to preview: www.systorm.com also, definitely check out pliant's VERY LIMITED release, also on systorm. zachary zim200is7.nyu.edu --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The same John S Hall from King Missile (ala Detachable Penis, Jesus Was Way Cool, Failure, etc)? If so, how did that fit on this cd... what kind of music was it? -mark --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Well, I don't know John S Hall or the bands you mentioned, but the CD states "taken from 'the body has a head' (Manifatture Criminali)". The tracks on the "Mind The Gap" compilation CD's (that are freely distributed with the Dutch magazine "Gonzo Circus") are mostly a mixture of electronic/indie/rock songs, but always of an "alternative/underground" nature. ___________________ h o p e n e v e r d i e s ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark <mef@ecst.csuchico.edu> To: 72.03.24 161.70 <matthias.hoys@skynet.be> Cc: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Wednesday, April 12, 2000 10:47 PM Subject: Re: [idm] 3 things

yeah that's his side project from King Missile. that cd is only available via his website, you can't get that anywhere else. How was the track? Hall is known for his experimental and comedic lyrical prowess. For anyone into odd music with even stranger lyrics King Missile 3 - Failure is DEFINITELY a great cd to get. just to stay on topic, at least 1 track on the cd uses a drum machine. -mark "72.03.24 161.70" wrote:
