bogdan, who used to be a member of the kfmf (kosmic free music foundation) still has some tracks in the kfmf archives, under his old pseudonym Karl. try these: http://www.kosmic.org/music/1996music.htm http://www.kosmic.org/music/1995music.htm the 'dance your joy' track (indeed a thriller) is oddly absent, but i'm sure there's a few other random ftp sites that would have old kfmf material...it'll just take some digging.. you can all also try http://www.hornet.org/music for the 'complete' tracker music archive (since <1990!!) and http://www.scene.org for all of the latest.

yow, i thought everyone had all but forgotten about #trax and trackers and such. maybe this should be taken offline.. but karl and dune were by far the best of the bunch in my opinion. if you can find any of dune's stuff, it's surely worth it. his demo group 'orange' also produced my favorite demos. look for the 'robot' series. but anyway.. dune went on to become 'brothem states' (sp?) and plays live a lot and releases his music via mp3/internet and i don't know of any record releases right now. the link at scene.org seems to be broken.. but his new work is excellent. i don't want to think too much about the tracker scene since much of my own involvement way back was kind of embarrassing. Ouch! Trackers are quite active thankyou. :) Blatant Plug (coz it's been a while): Go to our very own IDM Modules page, at: http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/idm.htm and if anyone's got anything to contribute, please send it to me... -- Ben Coffer http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/

aside from being a bit of a fan of his, i'm also i cohort. and hey, check this out, i've got two remixes he's done of my tracks. http://members.xoom.com/tin/072098Y.zip http://members.xoom.com/tin/picnic9.zip this blatant plug gets me respect, right? :P aside from NOISE, Dreamsource and KFMF, he's released songs through mono (or maybe monotonik, their 'techno sublabel' both are at -- www.mono211.com) under the name bogdan (i think), AND under the name ice climber. check it. both his releases are quite good. he's also says that he enjoys releasing tunes anonymously. -- towel_ - http://pigforce.warande.net/inpuj/taoru/
