A friend of mine saw him in DC over teh weekend and said he basically played every song that was on him Ovum Mix. (said he threw in some 'intelligent' drum n' bass too that confused the crowd which had no idea how to dance to this new music; though I'm not sure what my jungle love'n friend menat by that. I guess new music need new dances). I'm not sure I know the Ovum mix that you speak of. I think the last time I saw him was in February (with Matrix, and Dj SS). His first two tunes were very ambient, and kind of experimental... definitely not floorfriendly. Then he progressed into some harder tunes, and into alot of prettier jazz material (Sci Clone & J Majik tunes I presume). Most everything he played were dubplates. Since there is a new 4 track ep by J Majik called Jigsaw {Infrared) coming out I would expect him to drop that. And his next single as Rufige Kru on Stormtroopa V.I.P/Beachdrifta (Metalheadz). Probably some Dillinja tunes, Marcus Intalex - Universe (Metalheadz Dub) and more. Should be a good night!
