A general rule that's paid huge dividends for me: If it's on Sub Rosa, get it. _Substancia 2_, like all SR comps, offers exclusive tracks from its diverse, uniquely talented roster. This label has the uncanny ability to find artists from around the world who don't really fit into any genre, but who create some of the most innovative music around (Bisk, Freeform, Richard Thomas, Multiphonic Ensemble, Benge, etc.). _S2_ is a fine introduction to Sub Rosa if you're not familiar with the label. I highly recommend it and just about anything else on Sub Rosa. BTW, I'm not on SR's payroll.
