Leila - Like Weather (short review - but not really) The reason you probably havn't seen many reviews of it is because it's difficult to explain. The electronics are similar to Bjork, but only because they are relatively simple (but not too simple to not be interesting). Some tracks have vocals -- some don't. My copy doesn't have liner notes so I'm not sure who actually sings the vocals (it's obviously a few people .. different voices on differnet songs) Kind of laid-back -- some very basic drumwork. One track (Space Love) builds up with the washy-Aah type sounds and just before everytime it would seem to climax, it cuts out .. to build up again .. it's interesting. I understand why you havn't heard it since it's a difficult decision to blow $20 on something that you've never heard. I would probably suggest listening to it first if you ever get the chance. oh .. and there's one R&B track .. but I choose to ignore that one for obvious reasons :) So, is anyone willing to review the V/VM - Pigs 7"? I am eager to read about it. np: Muslimgauze - Melt -- Trade List: http://www.nfdc.net/home/claypig/tradelistmain.htm Want List: http://www.nfdc.net/home/claypig/wantlistmain.htm ~~Steve Collins~~ "Sometimes, dreams are wiser than waking." -Black Elk http://www.nfdc.net/home/claypig
