late night thoughts to share: -picked up the mururoa ep recently. thought i was gypped by the store, but afte r hearing the complaints on idm, i realize i was lucky. no skips. does that ectomorph track remind anyone else of nitzer ebb? -the new like a tim on djax is weird. it sort of sounded neat, in a nursery- rhyme way, but i lacked the balls to buy it -i was poking through the fatcat pages, and they charted a max404 record for part of march. i haven't heard anything about this... anyone? btw, they chart some neat stuff there. anybody heard the new clatterbox? - to teep, i've been pricking my ears for the namlook/gorl record for a while, but all i've seen is a confusing blurb from the resonance records catalog (bles s them!). they classified it under 'E' for electro but then said something abou t "the good ole days of fax hardtrance" which baffled me.

Came out on Eevo-Lute about a week or two ago, but I don't remember much about it except for the fact that it was either excerpts or remixes of tracks from his _Love & Mathematics_ LP. - Matthew

Spymania are hopefully repressing their first three releases soon, maybe even number four too. The conumber ep is good, but it doesnt come close to the album and port rhombus, however.... alroy road tracks... this is my record of 96, i saw squarepusher live (free show!) at the leadmill in sheffield in january 96, ive never looked back since, Its got two mellow funky fellows, a couple of pounders and a toast for hardy...Saracid - chords that would give stevie wonder his eyesight back. Take a look at gonzis page: http://www1.linkonline.net/fresh/spyhq.htm and if you want to get hold of Tom Jenkinsons first ever release (Stereotype ep) get in touch with hardy at spy <loozerz@mistral.co.uk>, dont expect him to mail you back for like...2 weeks though :) kF

Have SquarePusher's Concumber EP and Alloy Road Tracks gotten a rerelease? I'm only asking because the Concumber EP has turned up at my local store, and I might order Alloy Road Tracks if it's available. How do they compare to his other stuff? BTW, anyone want to stick their neck out and give a review of Chiastic Slide? Is it strictly for listening or are there any usable tracks.(Like track 1&2 on Tri Repetae or Anvil Vapre). tanx, ste....

... I heard a couple tracks last night on Brave New Waves that i've never heard before, and that i absolutely MUST find. Here's the pieces of information that i was able to get: NEWTRONIK: Planet Earth. (industrial loops with smooth break-beats...) MARTIN GRESHMAN aka Console? (German artist) remixing a track from Tide & Tickle... Please excuse the vagueness of this post, i was writing in the dark, and my mind was half asleep. Any information leading to the location of these releases would be great! Pietro. _______________________________ Pietro Da Sacco, mbm@netcore.ca The Circular Cosmic Spot http://www.sdriver.com/spot

yes, aka Console. this is on a 12" - Tied & Tickled Trio - Constant RMX. it's Payola F2 the record also has remixes from Hometrainer, Blond and Kammerflimmer Kollektief. probably out of print. but T&TT's selftitled CD was reissued in America by Sasha Frere-Jones of Ui, on his Bingo label. mr. e now spinning: patrick vian:bruits et temps analogues (offset)
