If you get a MIDI interface, yes, you can play it as a synth using Sidmidi by Kingfisher of Triad (Linus Walleij) who uses it in his own music. But I can't find it on the Web anywhere. Or get a Sidstation: http://www.sidstation.com For about 400 quid, and play a 20-year old 3-voice analog/digital synthesiser. (!) But it has high quality amplification components, apparently, so sounds great. It's probably not bad. Jeremy.
