Of the DSOTM I've heard (I own 1 through 6) I think I like DSOTM1 and DSOTM3 the best. The second one works nicely as a flowing album, but lacks somewhat in development for the first 20 or so minutes. Unfortunately, I found the most recent ones to be very same-y sounding, and a bit uninspired. As for Bill Laswell's contribution, I can't really tell except for his odd bass-strumming here and there.
