anyone know of any GOOD speech synth programs (shareware/freeware) that deal with text files and phonemes and also speak in a totally flat (pitch config would be cool) monotone voice?? (IE not reading text with human intonation?) that runs on win 95? or better still...something similar to the "singing" speech synths that the mac has (the one cylob uses on "rewind"??) thanks in advance bri studio moo updated!! www.source.co.uk/users/moo/moo.htm

I found some share/freeware text->speech stuff on http://www.leo.org/ and http://micros.hensa.ac.uk/ and also http://www.shareware.com/ by sticking "speech" into their site search engines. (Certainly for DOS and Win3.1/95...) Hope this helps. Cheers, Jon
