I also enjoyed it, but it wasn't like an "OH MY GOD"-feeling. It's pretty good, nothing more. I don't have it, and will not try to get it. Well, if someone was standing out on the streets and gave hundreds of that remix away, I would probably try to get my hands on it... / Thomas L --- Sorry for my bad english. I'm just a stupid Swede.

hmm - not too objective here; it's my favorite pop band remixed by my favorite IDM act... ...but it's *amazing.* Melancholy and slow yet intricately rhythmic, completely different from the original version yet entirely retaining the sense and feel of it, booth and brown deploying beats in their best surgical fashion over tweaked pad washes... ...mmm. sr -- sd

I agree. The original is a fabulous pop song, though. Saint Etienne qualifies as intelligent dance music, though not IDM. For evidence, check out _So Tough_, a record I've described as post-modern pre-Beatles pop. "Like A Motoway" is taken from _Tiger Bay_ (an album disfigured by the US record company, which wrecked its flow by deleting a 3-track suite and replacing it with an unrelated single and 2 US-only mixes of album track -- get the UK/Europe version). --Mark __ Burning Rome : SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 > Distributed by Dutch East India Trading, Com Four, and Carrot Top < < http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome > < MP3 & RealAudio tracks >
