`Finally picked up this incredible release, but i've got absolutely no information on these guys. Who are they? I also had a listen to an album from Phoenicia called "____designz"?? I can't remember the exact title. It was a collage of experimental drill'n bass with odd melodies floating around. Keep in mind i only listened to it for about 6 minutes. I had a bad impression on it, so i didn't pick it up. `I'd like some information on Phoenicia. If you've got it, please spread IT! Thanks in advance... `Pietro. np- Terminal Beats (another d'n b compilation...) _____________________________________________ THE MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO ARTICLE DATABASE http://www.sdriver.com/cgi-bin/dbman/db.cgi

Phonecia are the guys behind the Schematic label based in Florida, and also record under the name Soul Oddity. The two guys in Phonecia record under different names in different configurations on Schematic, but I'm not really sure who's who, so I'll let someone else fill that info in.

That would actually be Panacea, not Phonecia, and the album is Twisted Designz, which I've only seen one positive review of, including those from people who liked his earlier work. So I've been avoiding it. Greg

My roomate had 'Twisted Designz'...it's a little wierd, well I mean for Panacea. It's not even really hard as fuck dnb, it's actually sort of downtempo. There are some fast breaks and it's dark as hell, but it somehow is a little 'quikier' than his last full lenght... I would say don't bother unless you are a big Panacea fan; oh yeah he also manages to again use that same Ae sample he nicked last time around. I mean come on let's at least be original about blatant sample usage:) anyway peace Nate
