Attention: the new Jake Mandell album, Parallel Processes, is really,
really, really fucking good. If it weren't for the fact that it's not
officilly realeased until January, I'd put it in the running for best of
'98. :) Anyway, you know you need it. Get it when it comes out in a coule
of weeks from your poorly distributed pals at Worm Interface.
Also, the Bola album is yummy ooey gooey goodness. Shame about the crap
packaging that threatens to fall apart at any moment.
For those in Toronto 'n' area, I'll be droppin' tracks from these and more
tomorrow night at Clinton's (693 Bloor St. W.) where I'll be spinning
around sets by synKratic (bleepy-bloopy-technoy-ambienty-stuff) and
Rational Youth (Canadian synth-pop legends back from the dead!). It's only
4 stinkin' bucks, so come on down, ya damn tightwads! I might even wear a
friggin' Santa hat if you're nice. Except for the girlies - they gots ta
be naughty. Ooooooh yeah.
