Pre-Invalid is a 5-track vinyl-only ep of tracks previous

disappointment is that Pre-Invalid is missing 5 tracks from
the Navy Waships cd. So really it's only half of the album,
but having half on vinyl is better than nothing.

Phthalocyanine on this, his first full-length. Ten tracks
of disjointed polyrhythms, metallic noises, unsettling
synth lines and distorted loops. The end result sounds
something like a collaboration between polygon window,
mu-ziq, beautyon and low res but with a flavor and
style that is distinctly Phthalocyanine. An engaging
listening experience and an impressive first release
for his new Phthalo label. 8/10
