OK, here are some random questions, most of which have been dealt with at some point, but long ago, in a galaxy far far away... Jarre's Oxygene--I found it for $1. Not my favorite thing on one listen, what do other people think? Is this some sort of rarity by now? DJ Rush--Rush Rules-Trax--Again for a dollar, it's alright minimal tech/house/whatever stuff. What's the deal with Trax and Rush? Takhead (What's My Mission Now)and tackhead Sound System (Tackhead Tape Time). What's up with this industro-dub stuff? Do poeple like this era of On-U? Later Sam

Arrrrggh! Played to death at its birth (not by me, but by radio stations) and thankfully forgotten for many years - I was reunited with this piece on a holiday to Mauritius earlier this year, where the hotel seemed to have very few tapes apart from Oxygene. Not my favourite thing on a hundred listens either.

I think "Oxygene" is pretty good although I haven't heard it in 5 or 6 years. It is far from rare. In fact, that is one of the 70's electronics records that you are most likely to find in a shop. If you are looking for good stuff in that vein, investigate Heldon/Richard Pinhas. I think Pinhas blew all the other 70s analog tinkerers away and layed the foundation for the synthesis of electronics and heavy/punky rock.
