tuesday, dec 1: Jason Amm (aka Solvent) and Gregory de Rocher (aka Lowfish) will be coming by to debut some new releases on their Suction label. They'll also be bringing down some rare and unreleased stuff for us to hear, including an exclusive broadcast of their tag-team performance as Tinfoil Teakettle recorded live at the Immersion event in May.

It did happen, yes, but as for the RealAudio feed, there were some problems with it over the weekend. I checked from home a couple of hours before I went to do the show, and it was fine, but perhaps it conked out again. If so... sorry, folks. Greg

Just a note to let y'all know that since I went to see Tony Bennett in concert last night (obIDM: he did a killer version of "Autumn Leaves"!), I traded timeslots this week with the guy who does the Wednesday night 10-12 show at the station. So if you actually give a damn and want to tune in (either at 89.5 FM if you're around Toronto, or at http://www.ciut.utoronto.ca otherwise), I'll be on the air TONIGHT from 10 PM until midnight Eastern instead of my usual Tuesday night thing. Time willing, I'll be playing stuff from the first two 20' to 2000 releases on Noton; some new stuff on April Records from Denmark; a great Toronto based indie artist named Tomas Jirku who rests between Pole, Autechre and... somewhere else; and more this-list-friendly stuff. And since I'm filling in for an "open format" show, I might even play some stuff with *gasp* GUITARS - specifically, cuts from a pair of new Kranky releases by Godspeed You Black Emperor! and Low. No WORLD PREMIERES as far as I know. :) More info as always at http://www.stainedproductions.com/feedback Greg
