Hello IDM, does anyone know whats up with my Lamb Gorecki Promo on Mercury? The track listing says Gorecki - Global Communication Mix Gorecki Cotton Wool - Fila Brazilia Mix BUT the two songs labeled Gorecki all have prominent vocal samples from the third song, labeled Cotton Wool, which sounds like an orignal - not a remix - in that the vocals are sung straight through, not cut up like on the other two tracks. Its so confusing. CheersAndrewC.

I have a few copies of the 12" and it says on 1 side " Global communication remix " and it is hands down a remix by global, beaty, a fast break, nice pads, and a floty vocal over the top. It's funny because I gave a copy to mark pritchard when he was in detroit because he had not even gotten a copy of it on vinyl yet.. has it ever been released other than promo? bb. Yep - I agree that mix sounds like GC - no question, but a mix of what song?

Dunno... New purchases: Lucky Kitchen comp - songs from imaginary video games - this is ace stuff. Twisted bleepy little tunage - strange industrial warblings , odd sound after odd sound after odd sound. Most entertaining. You can't dance to it though :) Burger/Ink - Las Vegas - Fantastic. So smooth you could slide down it nekkid and not get a single splinter in yer backside. Totally chilled four four sounds - more tuneful than consumed and all the better for it - is 4/4 the new chill out maxim? CheerioAndrewC.

The buzz for a while (perhaps around last year) was that Lamb was going to put out a compilation of remixes, including the Global Communication remix. I too have the promo 12", but haven't seen it on any commercial releases domestic or import. Aaron
