Just wondering, for an article I'm writing, can anybody remember who exactly it was who characterised breakbeat hardcore's relation to Detroit techno as 'cultural rape'? Derrick May? Eddie Fowlkes? And was it an advert for Haze or something else which so pissed people off around '95, by featuring junglist breakbeats? I know there was a McCain's Oven Chips one, but I'm sure that came later... That was Eddie "flashin" Fowlkes. I think the term is pretty strong, I prefer to say that rave music prooved that there are alot of white people who are completely without soul. :) The English wasted a lot of vinyl on terrible music in the 90's. Take care, Mike Taylor NP : Pole : LP1 Gareth Metford wrote:
