I'm really looking forward to the new Dj Krust lp. The last single True Stories was excellent. And his remixes of Bjork were awesome as well. Apparently, the LP is still untitled. There is suppose to be a very limited DJ Krust sampler out soon. 4th October - Coded Language - Krust - Talkin Loud 14th October - Krust LP (no title yet) - Krust _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yesterday, when I was scanning my record shops I came across a Krust 7" on Talking Loud, I guess it wa a promo. One side was a (short) d&b track with female singing, the other a 6 minutes Krust-goes-classic thing (you know, somewhat like 4Hero's 'Planetaria'). Didn't bought it (and I normally like Krust as much as 7"s) 'cause it just didn't sound right. Hope his album got more tracks like 'True Stories'. There's already been an extremely limited 7" which was released a couple of weeks ago - perhaps of more IDM interest than the LP sampler, which should be more jungle material. One side of the 7" is a cinematic score played by a string quartet, the other side is a crazy downtempo electro-y jam with chopped drums and vocals by Morgan. But if you don't have one already, good luck ever finding one... However the two tracks feature no drum & bass beats. "One Moment" is a six minute chamber music track - strings only. "Verture" 2.31 features strings, piano, echoey female vocals and hip hop beats. I've liked his previous arranged tracks and look forward to the album - but this is not much of a preview. The single due next week: Tribute / Second Movement / Excuses sounds more promising. cheers CT
