What I want to know is this: Why is nobody mentioning this guy's stuff ?!? It's *excellent*. Go check it out!!! http://bentdesign.com/dreamsource/saundart/ There are 3 mp3s up for your general consumption - very reminiscent of Chain Reaction / Basic Channel, but not to the point of being derivative or unoriginal. Very nice - in a perfect world I could walk down to my local record shop & buy these immediately (which I would, if I could). Labels, take note. Cheers, Bill / dj marathon "m. abrahamsson" wrote:

I agree with Bill. I checked out the Saundart mp3 he posted a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I'm downloading his new one now. As Bill says, definite CR/BC stuff. Cant wait for some of his stuff to get released on a more usable format. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

I went to the site again, hoping there was something new there, but only see the first 2 (saundart 16 & 26). Yeah, I flushed my cache and reloaded... I also don't really see the CR / BC connection, except insofar as it's textural, minimal techno. *shrug* I guess it's as useful a point of comparison as any. | Very nice - in a perfect world I could walk | down to my local record shop & buy these | immediately (which I would, if I could). Sorry, he also send out another one that isn't linked off that page: http://bentdesign.com/dreamsource/saundart/bauri.mp3

A lot of this is because Bauri namechecked BC/CR as an influence when he first posted about his mp3s, I suppose. I hear a definite influence, as I said...BC/CR sort of defined "textural, minimal techno" for me, personally, so that has something to do with it, too.
