It's that time of year when list members start testing my limits. This is a generic warning that off topic jabber and especially that of an offensive nature will not be tolerated. Your subscription to this list is not right, it is a privilege which can be easily revoked. Those of you that know better, lead by example, those of you who do not know better, learn quickly. And while I'm at it... For those of you who choose to subscribe a redirecting email address to the list, please keep in mind that majordomo is looking for an exact match between the address you have subbed and the address from which you are posting. In the event that the match does not exist, the idm post is bounced to me for approval. I have been less and less interested in correcting these bounces so if your post is important, mind your part of the deal by making sure you're posting from your subscribed address. Also, if you are using an email service which maintains a QUOTA on the amount of email you can jam onto their server, it is in your best interest to MIND YOUR QUOTA. The moment it exceeds quota your list mail bounces back to me and you are unsubscribed w/o notice. Oh, maybe not last quite yet, but, a reminder that even though the new PINE will read HTML, it is still banned from the list. Post to IDM with HTML and it bounces to me and I laugh and delete it...or maybe I'll let you know...maybe not.
