Imagine yourself in a smelly pensurrounded by flies and decaying waste matter and that's only half of the story. This is the kind of noise MERZBOW can only dream about............ when played at high volume this record is guaranteed to upset thoseexposed and will become an essential end of night favourite for removing unwelcomed audience. Recording took place in the north west of englands largest Pig Farm___location witheld___. This record will of course be released on PIG colured vinyl, thus making it easier to locate should an occasion for playing arise. V/Vm in association with NORTH WEST PIGS giving DJ's the WORLD over an opportunity to really communicate with their audiences in a language the audience understands. vvmPIG will be strictly limited of course and will be released early inDECEMBER. Last seen offending children, beating up Keith Harris and orville duckwhilst drinking enough Q.C. sherry to sink a battleship, PIGEON then spent the entire winter season at Butlins Bognor supporting BuCKs FIZZ and Boy George. After this success the PIGEON then disappeared to a life of crime and KEBABS to support his 27 children. By a freak chance in a million 'The PIGEON' was located by the crack V/Vm butchers busking outside Wimpey in Stafford, where he was performing the greatest hits of TAKE That on spoons. Two cans of Special Brew and a Whiskey chaser later and the rights for Mouldy Dough were ours. Thus appearing on Side One in its original form is Mouldy Dough (formerly known as Mouldy Old Dough). For those of you not old enough to remember this track first time around just ask anybody over 35 years of age and see them squirm in horror as they recollect gangs of drunken party animals falling all over themselves to do the Mouldy Dough Dance. What about the flip I hear you ask_____well disappointment is guaranteed, those V/Vm butchers have taken it upon themselves to BUTCHER up a number of old PIGEOn numbers, bringing them in line with the guidelines set by the European commission in Brussels. Limited to 100 copies (because no one will want it) this is your chance to be dazzled by those, oh so lovely piano melodies and a vocal to die for.Demand is sure to be low for this product so avoid disappointment and buya pair of slippers instead.THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE ONLY UK RECORD LABEL TOWORK WITH BUTCHERS AND OTHER TRADERS OF OFFALTHIS PRODUCT WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT PARTICIPATING BUTCHERSAND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE IN THE SHOPS. additionally - ALL PIGEONS will be given a unique NAME which willbe hand etched into each run out groove. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

additionally, there's been some more info up at that aweful site : www.sonic.net/~brap/vvm/ what lance mentioned, info on the mildman boxes (they do exist and really have nothing to do with diskono scheduling :), and the mp3 only release that was mentioned a while back (and i believe in chartrunners, but would have to double check) v/vm also have a track on the new lucky kitchen comp, which sounds pretty damn essential imo with or without a vvm track... also some race results. no idea what this is though (i'm told just recently that the results are not netscape friendly and i apologize for that... looks properly formatted on my IE4 browser @ 800x600 and did not think to consider those who weren't in the game to help MS achieve world domination....) brap@sonic.net icq_12645306 http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ coming sooner than later: sfwd0004 - pre-mil·len·ni·um soundscapes 12" our future has never been so frightening: http://williamshatner.com/

i read the race results just dandy with a netscape browser. looks just like a local road race, but the funny thing is, i've done a "turkey trot" race here in the states, and the race is called a turkey trot b/c it's around thanksgivng time, and they give free turkeys to the top three finishers in each category. but who's celebrating thanksgiving in manchester? i would guess that someone from the v/vm collective is listed in the race result list. or maybe the turkey thing is just part of their barnyard obsession. np: caroliner rainbow open wound chorale ('nuf sed) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

i've been told that people have ordered theirs direct from the kitchen and i'm pretty sure that pj @ _S://KIMO actually has the pre-order copies in already. this probably means that any of the finer online outlets will have them, but can only speak about those that I happen to be ordering my copy from... brap@sonic.net icq_12645306 http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ coming sooner than later: sfwd0004 - pre-mil·len·ni·um soundscapes 12" our future has never been so frightening: http://williamshatner.com/

From the Wire feature on V/Vm, Skam, Diskono, etc. (Oct/98 issue): "Their 'Shoplift' project updates Abbie Hoffman's 'Steal This Book': they bought and 'reprocessed' (with Stanley knife, bootheel and spraypaint) hundreds of old vinyl releases, then placed the discs directly in shops' record racks rebagged with a note to the finder encouraging them to half-inch it." In other words - it's out, but you won't find it for sale via the usual outlets, 'cause it ain't a "real" release. Greg

back a while, when v/vm did some gigs with the diskono crew (pretty sure this was when it was) there was some reviews posted or recall someone telling me that some of the Shoplifts got planted there... some of the original info on this also provided provisions for us stranded in the US for picking them up (ie contact v/vm) if the above still applies, couldn't say... might be worth a try, might not... brap@sonic.net icq_12645306 http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ coming sooner than later: sfwd0004 - pre-mil·len·ni·um soundscapes 12" our future has never been so frightening: http://williamshatner.com/
