Solenoid is a producer from the Pacific Northwest Region
of the US (Portland or Seattle I believe). He does great
stuff in the abstract techno/electronica vein that would
be to the liking of most people on this list. He has one
track on the Diskono comp (as Fabric Soap Stars),
several tracks on the Emanate label comp called Emanated,
as well as several other comp appearances in the past
on various other labels.
There is a small Solenoid page on the Syncopate website
along with pages for a likeminded producers If.Then.Else
& lillainthal, an Emanate label page, and the excellent
electronic Headroom WebRadio station. Check it all out

All three aforementioned artists are on the superb Emanate
label compilation called Emanated which i highly recommend
