Heh. Almost Digital is Atom Heart. Is he still around? Well... "Naturalist' came out last month, and "Dropshadow Disease" came out this month... in fact, he's got over 50 full-length albums already. His newer stuff does not sound like _Almost Digital_. There's been quite a bit of experimental progression since then. Ahead of the pack indeed. For some more AH albums with the sound you're looking for, try "Halograms" by Bitniks, "Morphogenetic Fields" by Atom Heart, "Very Synthetic Virtual Noise" by VSVN, and/or "Render" by Lassigue Bendthaus (with vocals)... oh, and "Render Audible: U.S. Remixes" (without vocals). These are all Atom Heart (aka Uwe Schmidt) under different aliases.

Actually, "HT 03" is the call-number. The album is self-titled. Also, I believe you're thinking about Hypnotic, not Hypnotism. Hypnotism is a German-based label who unfortunately went under I believe. They released a few albums by Victor Sol, Kevin Martin, Lagowski, and some others. Pretty much trance-based. Ooops... wrong `Martin'. Sorry. I meant to say `Alex Martin'. I might as well have written `Dean Martin'... my brain was somewhere else. Duh. los. .`-). | ; christopher miller o o' evil@digital.net = '
