I wouldn't put too much hope into any CMJ shows. Mostly, they have really short sets, and lotsa men in suits gabbing over the music. Look at how many people are on the Giant Step Bill, and I'm assuming it's all one room. Just a warning not to get too hyped. Aphex played for 25 minutes last year. And I disagree about Om's prices. Hey All Opening night gig is a 2 room party at the Roxy. I'll post full lineup and times when I get them from our booking agent. Coldcut is on from 1-2 AM as far as I know. Neotropic at 11-11:45 in small room. Neotropic (actually as Small Fish With Spine) is also playing on the Saturday night at Izzy Bar as part of an Oxygen Music party with Mantronix and some others. It's a free gig. Me and Philippa from Ninja will be around all week. We won't be wearing suits. Say hi, if you see us. You can find me at the bar. I'm also going to be talking some shit on a panel Thursday morning at 10:30 AM (ouch!..morning after Coldcut gig and all), so if you want to come heckle or throw shit or something, I'll be kickin' logic on how to run an indie label and survive without being a weasel.
