hi again... im not a label or anything but heres my one post for/in a while. on the agenda: METHOD IN MY TRAINSPOTTING MADNESS of course i dont get to hear much in ottawa so i mainly go by distro/mail order hype to choose my purchases. now, theres a lot i dont remember ordering yet keep because its good... lets see if any of you can fill the gaps (its also good to get more than one person's angle on these) any other related suggestions? -two 12", one bearing nothing but doris/clara, another reading axel/bernd. i suppose those are the kanzlermat (oooooh whatever) releases that all the movie stars are talking about. your turn -another pair of vinches, on airlock. discuss. -bergheim 34 cd. start _________________________ FALL TRADES - sorry about the b/width, where's Whitezone when you need it? havent been doing a lot of those in while here goes for the more important/recent stuff: *get this hague stuff outta my face: -VIEWLEXX double seven inch (001 I THINK - pink and green) by Beverly Hills 808303 (errr, clever?). them apples dont be seen often so hop in, electro fans! -MURDER CAPITAL 001 by I-F. again, first come first serve -LONNY & MELVIN 12" on sabotage: not rare but you might have missed the boat. SKAM!!!!! s-k-a-m! Jega's SKA 009 and Gescom 10 DISKONO!!!! both diskono's SCHEMATIC 5/6: coleman and metic EMAIL me for wants list... I SLEPT while the Gefriem Schlammpeitziger CD (if such thing there is) was flying off the shelves and now want it... if can help ill trade for the items above other stuff (records)... i believe thats it, if not for the slightest matter of WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH OBSESSIVE EYE? i finally got it in the mail last week and have been flabbergasted by how badly written and uninformative/grade-niner-deep-thoughts-ish/uninspired it is. no other arguments for now (uninspired myself), so well let the thread grow naturally (it might happen) and i can better explain this in the light of your own observations... later, idm, jif

I know that the "doris/clara" record is on Ernst, the label Thomas Brinkmann set up. I believe all of the releases thus far are women's names, and all are recorded @ 133.33 BPM (one full revolution on a 12" record) so very strange patterns are formed in the vinyl. Lance, I know Brinkmann's a favorite of yours, any more info? I don't own any of 'em yet, I've only seen one in the shop & wasn't taken enough to buy it at the time. Brinkmann has set up two labels for the exploration of ultra-minimal techno: Ernst and Max. Ernst, which has four records out to date, is supposed to explore the warmer side of minimal techno and features records named after women. Max, which has just one record out to date, is supposed to explore the harder/noisier side of minimal techno and features records named after men. All the records are produced using the ultra bizarre turn- tables that Brinkmann made himself giving all the tracks (including his recent Concept 1 remixes) a very unique sound. but don't expect the ernst or max records to sound like the Concept 1 remixes. The ernst and max records sound more like wierd versions of mike ink's studio 1 label material. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
