yeah, i got that. it says he is a "special guest." anybody know what
that entails? it would be much cooler if he were headlining. there is
a cool cmj show coming up in early november too, with wagon christ,
talvin singh, dj krush, ryuichi sakamoto, the automator, coldcut,
tipsy and mm mike. it's actually the night before the squarepusher
thing. i don't think i've seen that mentioned on the list either.
that's another tut-tut.
the autechre show was ok... maybe i would have had more fun if i
wasn't burned out from going to so many shows recently. of course it
didn't help that there was this fucking bitch on my left taking a
photograph every 5 seconds. btw, i'm not much of an equipment guy...
does anyone know what sort of stuff autechre was using?
plaid put on a good set. and mara was pretty cool, though i'm kinda
curious as to what connection she has to them. i talked w/ her a bit
after the show, but felt it would be rude to ask.
anyhow, i was the dude in the blue polvo shirt, with "polvo de la
escoba" in orange. i didn't really spot anyone from the list,
unfortunately.
