Brothers I'll House You? Was the original track any good? Who produced it?<< Todd Terry. The original version is pretty damn dope. I can't see any reason for fucking with a classic unless you let a genius do it. Todd Terry next did some cool house/hip hop crossover with T La Rock - "Housin' With the T" and "You've got the Time" was a good 12", though the dub mixes were the ones to check; if I remember rightly the LP was a little on the dodgy side. T La Rock's Mantronix produced stuff is still the best though, especially "Live Drumming with the Country Boy" off the LP, and "Having Fun" where TLa and Greg Nice (human beatbox) do loads of crazy impressions and end with "...a beat in Chinese style" which is pretty insane - that's on a b-side - possibly Bass Machine...
