hello. dont know what the above is, and am now curious.. BUT: the other day, burried in a bin at one of the local record stores (dr freeclouds for you so-cal kids) i found this 12" called "the anti static ep".. has an AMAZING solvent track called "bugs are in every room" i HIGHLY recommend giving this track a listen. its good squishy fun! in fact, i even played it on my show (for those that might listen to kuci) that being said -- i finally gave the solvent cd a solid listen (on suction) and recorded it to play in the tape deck of my car. its stayed in there for a while now. and damn it, its REALLY good. i made a comment to a friend sometime ago, and he suggested i pass the comment on to the solvent folk.. but i never really did, because im fearful that somehow it might be taken the wrong way.. BUT, what the hell: solvent it to the idm 'norm' what those little squished down vertech-like toys (the buggy looking ones) were to the regular veritech fighter toys. for those who know what im talking about, i mean it in a super good way. thats all. in summary: i like solvent. good stuff. chris.

ah yes, the anti-static comp ep is an excellent release on the spelunk label. the solvent track is also my favorite on the comp but the cron and him+her tracks are also excellent. i believe they have real audio tracks from all their releases on the spelunk website (http://www.spelunk.com). i believe i did a recoreview of the anti-static ep earlier this year as well. i'll repost it when i get home.

yes another gem for suction. i reviewed this one and gave it high praise. will be one of my tops for 98.

There's a track called Solvent called "flexidisc" on the first Suction release. That's what the person was referring to (I wrote to them and asked) :) Greg

Cytrax is the california based techno label of Kit Clayton. If you like the type of abstract minimal techno that the Organised Noise label or even the more recent Parallel label records (one of which Kit co-produced) have been putting out then you'll like the Cytrax records. I think they're up to #8 so far. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
