Picked Riddim Warfare up yesterday... I was disappointed by a couple of things: A. The Name "DJ Spooky That Whatever Kid" B. The way in which Spooky et al found it necessary to ramble complete gibberish into the mic as though we'd find it theoretically profound. I say "SHUT UP AND CUT SOME WAX!" I don't give a rat's what if the DJ has deep thoughts (or drug induced babbles he thinks are deep thoughts)...I only care if the DJ can spin a record and mix up some goodies. C. Stupid useless rap content D. Generally unlistenable music, mostly noise, not really even DNB except for the obligatory clicheed drum riffs. E. 30-second bass solos. Argh. I wasted 16 bucks.
