Electric Company = Brad Laner (from an MBV imitations band Medicine that
had one excellent song ("the pink") and a whole lot of utter shit).
There's 2 other cds - "A Pert Cyclic Omen" and the remixes of Brad's other
band Amnesia on the first 1500 copies (on Island).
The remixes are more like studio city, a pert cyclic omen is different,
still electronic, still very good - more textural sounds, less beats.
Nice.
Studio City is still the best thing I've heard from him though - excellent
release (and for those bothered by digital noise - Studio City has a lot
more "soul" and "funk" than Farmers Manual...).
