PAL is one of the many Ant-Zen bands/projects - one of the best, but they're all pretty great if you like the noisy rhythmic end of things. If you like that release, you'll probably like the rest of them... Especially check out Imminent Starvation (stupid, stupid name, great, great music) - Human Dislocation. And then the rest of the Ant-Zen bands. Three cheers for minimal rhythmic noise. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto

the best starter to ant-zen's brand of noise - "power electronics" (great name) - is the recently issued retrospective, _ant-hology_. 2cd's compiling tracks off of their best releases because, sorry, 75% of them are out of print. ant-zen is the king of the weird limited edition - nearly every release is limited to less than 1000, usually to some weird number like 621. so, pick up the set before it, too, is deleted. (the box set already has been.) a good place to pick up the cd(s) is soleilmoon (www.soleilmoon.com). i think they've got for some ridiculously good price like $14. also, on the live front: noisex, imminent starvation, and sonar (side project of dive) are touring the states last week of november this year. should be INCREDIBLE. loud, powerful, and noisy. only five dates: NYC, DC, chicago, LA, and SF. a must-see. ant-zen stuff is highly recommended to those who like their sound noisy. fans of v/vm, jega, muslimgauze, :zoviet*france:, panacea, panasonic, and i-F take notice. * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com ##:# see the stars, they're shining bright/everything's alright tonight

Imminent Starvation if (for me ) the only MUST see. i've seen al the bands (including almost the rest from ant-zen) a couple of times and i can tell you Imminent Starvation rules. Synapscape and Hypnoskumm are also very fine! Sonar is at it best when you see it for the first time...(more impact). any way: go there and enjoy greetings from europe.
