Don't know how accurate the article is, but according to "Obsessive Eye" issue 3, Andy was wanting to put an end to the Mask series. Also, regarding "anally" limited music... I don't see what's wrong with it? Usually this is done for monetary reasons (just talk to Martin Pike of Duophonic), but even if it isn't, it keeps the music underground and in the hands of people who care enough to find it.
