hello? havent had any mail for two days... anyone out there?

i seem to be getting no messages through like i used to.... is there something going on i dont know about??? i have had no idm mail for three days solid... heeeelllpppp!!!!!

i don't know why i've taken so long in subscribing to this list, but here i am. i lookforward to your messages and meeting some new people ( i know some of you in other contexts...). and now, for the aspiring musicologists amongst us (or just plain wannabes, like me), i recently found something very interesting in a used bin: 'prime numbers', by other music. if there's a nominal connection between this and the store in nyc, i dunno. but it's quite intriguing - no sequencing, just an ensemble of percussionists playing justly-tuned (their octave has 14 notes; it strikes me as very similar to one isaac newton devised) gamelan-like instruments. it sounds really crazy. it came out in 1980 - proto-idm? this could be on mego or skam. ring any bells for anyone here? yours, niall. every text is apocryphal. let nothing be suppressed. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Hello all After a good 2 years or something of not being on this list I thought I'd check in and see what's happening on here. To help this mail from being a complete bandwidthwaster I want to point my swedish brothers and sisters to http://welcome.to/tube -- I occationally write reviews on there (plaid, lamb, lexaunculpt being the latest ones) -- they also do a somewhat big thing on Sexyrubbersole (Snakeeyes/Worm Interface) in the latest issue. So check them out. Mostly clubthings though. Well, we'll see if it's good to be back. Just thought I'd say hi if there are any old folks left (hi lance! :). Greets all, At long last I have remembered to resub to the list. Most likely I am a complete unknown to most of you, but what's new? :) I am, as always, in total musical darkness, here in the boondocks of creation. Miraculously, a shop has recently opened that actually has a SECTION labeled "Electronic" which features music that does indeed belong in that section. So, things may just be looking up...
