I dont know if this has been mentioned here before
but the other day I discovered a company that offers
a nice free mp3 player that allows you to play
multiple mp3s at the same time and also includes
mixer-type features allowing for mp3 pitch/speed
control as well as crossfading between tracks! There
is also a "professional" version of the mp3 mixing
software called 1200 (original eh?). The company
also offers actual mp3 hardware/djing equipment for
djs who want so mix mp3s outside of their bedrooms.
Personally I enjoy listening to mp3s every now and
then but I think the hardware/equipment that this
company is selling is somewhat of an overkill.
Check out the software & hardware at:
http://www.pcdj.com/
btw: please dont let is message develop into some
mp3s vs cds/vinyl discussion or the pros/cons
of mp3 djs. this was just ment as a pointer to
a new free mp3 player.
