What's the deal with this? I heard the first Carpet Bomb 12" and it was great. Does this compile all the EPs? Tracklisting anyone? Graham.

No, its mostly new material... *really* good... If I weren't so lazy, I'd be posting this as still on my top 10 on the idmtops list... livestock - lawndrop microstudio - rural development project kundalina - new territories tripfrom - cubensis (abstract mix) unagi patrol - to dream like tom vu ugani patrol - pine soul tripform - chop y chop unagi patrol - i'm going to deli just picked up the new mickey hart | planet drum 12" w/ plastikman and mbm remixes, plus the cd with w/ the enhanced bit with loop guru and the eye remixes... haven't given any of it a spin but pretty anxious to. love hart (former hippy here =) and love plastikman... but will the two togther? ought to be interesting... brap@sonic.net[icq: 12645306] http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ sfwd prod | noisesoundnoise chris g. 1547 boston court #7, santa rosa, ca 95405

at first, i didn't really like the plenitude of the microstudio track, "rural development project", but then it started to all make sense and, well, it's really grown on me by now. so, i'm wondering if anyone could provide me with a microstudio discog? the mellow unagi patrol tracks are beautiful. i agree, excellent compilation. that's all, thanks. I think the only Mircostudio releases are: . Microstudio: Cubensis 12" (Carpet Bomb 01) . Unagi Patrol/Microstudio split 12" (Carpet Bomb 02) Plus the comp appearances on: . Highways over Gardens comp cd (Carpet Bomb) . Altered States of America comp cd (Lo Recordings) And i've heard rumors of an upcoming collaborative release between the Carpet Bomb & Suction labels... For more info you can visit the official Carpet Bomb website yourself at: http://home.earthlink.net/%7Etripform/ms/index.html -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

Altered States of America comp cd (Lo Recordings) Just as a warning for completists, the 15 min or so Microstudio track on Highways over Gardens is their sole submission to the split 12" with Unagi Patrol. I'd highly recommend the track, fwiw, with the same disclaimers as whoever else said that it took a while for the length to make any sense. I also have a hunch, just from memory, that the track on Altered States of America (another comp I'd recommend, although not as heartily as Highways...) is actually Cubensis. yes, it is. But Carpet Bomb fans should still get it just for the exclusive Kundalini track 'walking sun', which is sweet. mlt.ostml
