Is there some kind of CDNow for vinyl on the net? A place where I could find, say, Aphex Twin's "On", or some Underworld from a few years back? Assuming the answer is "no", can anyone give me a starter set of suggestions and links? I'm just about to start buying on vinyl, and I'd like to be able to get music I really like, instead of just what was released in the last two months. Lukas

your best get (that i know of) is probably GEMM at www.gemm.com. it's kind of a clearinghouse for collectors, specialist shops and hungry buyers. you get a search engine of all of the shops, so it makes comparison shopping a cinch. a lot of used stuff too, CD and vinyl. (disclaimer) i have been a gemm "seller" (phlow toonz) for about a year, but from everything i can tell, all seems to be on the up and up.
